Course VPN

The Course VPN (CVPN) feature enables direct peer-to-peer connectivity between desktop environments.

Enabled by default, Course VPN facilitates seamless communication between any desktops enrolled in a specific course, irrespective of their server location or data centre.

The following terminal captures illustrate the CVPN interface as observed from the command line.

The images below depict the VPN network interface generated when training workstations are provisioned. We can observe two student workstation terminals displaying the `edge0` network interface, which represents the Course VPN. These addresses are distinct and unique for each machine, allowing direct communication between the two endpoints.
